Child and Adolescent Assessments

Lorri is a leading consultant and assessor for children and adolescents. She and co-director Ken Gardner of Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute developed and co-authored the Play Therapy Dimensions Model: A Decision-Making Guide for Integrative Play Therapists. This decision-making model assists practitioners working with children and adolescents in both assessment and treatment decision-making. For Child and Adolescent assessments, Lorri will meet with each parent or caregiver in order to gain a full understanding of the child from the parents' perspectives. She will then, in consultation with the parents formulate a practical, individually tailored plan. Developmental, environmental and social issues will all be considered when providing assessment services and subsequent feedback to parents.

Adult and Family Assessments

Lorri provides assessments for individual adults and families in the areas of separation and divorce, treatment of trauma, relationship issues, trauma and adjustment difficulties (anger, anxiety and depression).
